Interfor Announces New Tiered Background Investigation Packages

In this day and age, every person or entity that touches our lives should be subject to an increased level of scrutiny. Performing background investigations on an individual or company is critical before making a hiring or business decision. Failure to conduct adequate due diligence can leave your business vulnerable to substantial losses and liabilities.
However, while a thorough background investigation is advisable, the cost and the time required is not always practical. In light of this fact and because of increasing demand from our clients, Interfor has developed an assortment of investigative options to meet your needs beginning with a Basic Background Investigation (BBI) which can be completed in 24 to 72 hours for $499. The BBI includes identification verification, a check of terrorist and sex offender lists, and a search of local civil and criminal records . As this plan covers the most basic information on a subject, it should be utilized for positions and areas with the lowest level of concern or responsibility.
Another option is the Premium Background Investigation (PBI), which includes a nationwide search of criminal and civil records. In addition to information available from database searches, the criminal and civil record search in the PBI package covers every county in which the subject has lived for the last 10 years, which is done by a field investigator when necessary. The package also includes searches of judgments and liens, employment and education verification, bankruptcy records, property records, a media search, analysis of corporate holdings and affiliations, a check of government regulatory agencies and a professional license and credential verification. This package is for clients who need comprehensive background information about employees, new hires, new business relationships and prospective partners in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital investments or large loan transactions. The cost is $2500 and the investigation can be completed within 7-10 business days.
Our International Background Investigation (IBI) package includes all of the features of the Premium Package, as well as a search of available public records in any other country in which the subject has lived. The cost of an international background/enhanced due diligence investigation and the time required for completion varies based on the country or countries involved in the investigation and the information provided by the client. Interfor will provide a written quote for a project cost for these investigations.
